About Me
I am Mary Lynne Murray, a professional organizer based in Contra Costa County, California.
Five people lived in my tiny home growing up in Vacaville, California. When I was a little girl, our house was so small that we had to downsize each season. I got used to clearing out things regularly, starting with Mom’s purse. Purging closets was a regular thing. My mom worked full time outside the home, so I routinely tidied the house. Whether through nurture or nature, I like organization.
After college, I worked in a retirement community and witnessed the unique needs of seniors. While working at a Senior Fair, I met a professional organizer. I launched my business in 2000 after attending my first NAPO meeting in San Francisco. Early work with seniors opened my eyes to the unique life events that seniors face, often leading to disorganization. I met a lovely senior named Alice, and we began working on her downsizing journey together, enabling her to Live Better at Home.
I have been a member of NAPO since 2000 and have completed a rigorous course of study through ICD. I uphold the NAPO Code of Ethics and carry liability insurance.
You can be assured that I will prioritize your needs throughout the process of organizing and downsizing your home. You will be treated with respect, dignity and integrity. I will be an advocate for you, and a resource for your family. I give practical support with kindness and concern that I would give to my own mother. Clients say that I make the process fun. Fun with results.
Wherever you call home, I’d like to help you live better.
